Idea

An eco/gardening project could be a great way of connecting all generations. You don’t need a huge space either, just a few square feet would be enough to build a veg patch or you could seek to find spaces in your local community where new plants could be dug in! 

Resources

Equipment – reasonably priced gardening equipment can be found at Wilkos or B&Q or contact Bristol Noise to borrow equipment

Knowledge – The RHS & Grow Veg have a great selection of resources on how to start an eco/planting space

Free resources – Little Green Fingers and Edina Trust includes a section of free resources

Key requirements

Outdoor space with permission to garden

Someone with good knowledge of gardening/growing food
